CARLO'S JOURNEY
From a young age, I was always fascinated by hair and looking sharp. As a teenager I found myself in the barbershop every week, getting my hair cut and soaking in the atmosphere. I knew early on that one day, I’d turn that passion into my craft.
My journey began when I had a spare day from my regular job and, knowing the owner of my local barbershop, I asked if I could sweep the floors for free on Fridays. That’s where it all started.
As soon as I was given the opportunity to learn the art of cutting hair in a well-established traditional barbershop in my community.
As I honed my skills, I realized I wanted to push myself further and get out of my comfort zone. I knew that building relationships and seizing new opportunities were key to growing my career in the industry.
To improve my craft, I invested in further education and landed an amazing opportunity to work alongside the successful YouTube channel, Regal Gentlemen.
Working in the big city exposed me to a wide range of hair textures, allowing me to expand my skills, diversify my clientele, and deepen my love for the art of hairstyling and barbering.
This journey has shaped me into the hairstylist I am today and inspired me to welcome you to Carlo hairstylist studio!
